"Ashley August is all things gritty and grimy and WONDERFUL!!! There’s  always a real woman representing for the ladies on every episode of Verses And Flow. And I LOVE it! To prove that we still run this world, Ashley got on stage and KILT!!! Literally. I was actually externalizing each word she spoke and kind of felt guilty at the end like there was real blood on MY hands. Yea, I’m telling you ol’girl went IN!!! I’m convinced she’s been watching a few too many Saturday morning marathons of SNAPPED with Daune (google her). But it makes for a real outstanding performance, so BRAVA DIVA!!"- Gabrielle Union, Actress
